I am a researcher of the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle (MNHN) at LOCEAN (Sorbonne Universités (UPMC, Université Paris 06)-CNRS-IRD-MNHN).
My research activities focus on the 3 following topics:
1. Structure and functioning of the pelagic ecosystem
2. Responses of mid-trophic organisms and top predators to mesoscale activity
3. Climate-ocean-ecosystem variability
My current projects focus on the ecology of mid-trophic organisms (macrozooplancton-micronecton) and their trophic interaction with top predators, mostly in the Southern Ocean. The dynamic physical-biological coupling is investigated at multi-scale through the use of various methods including acoustic, telemetry and remotely-sensed oceanography.
